Construction Underway
for New Sterile Corridor

Moving forward on the Lingle-Aiona Administration's 12-year, $2.3 billion Airports Modernization Plan to upgrade Hawai`i's airports, construction continued this week on a new International Arrivals Sterile Corridor at Honolulu International Airport.

Kids Voting Hawai`i Highlights Political Process

On the eve of the state Primary Election, Governor Lingle emphasized the importance of voting at a kick-off rally for students. Kids Voting Hawai`i is a nonpartisan effort to educate youth about each citizen's civic responsibility to preserve America's democracy by voting.
