Robotics Championship Races to Exciting Finish
The VEX Pan-Pacific Robotics Championship concluded Saturday evening at the Hawai`i Convention Center following one and a half days of heated competition. The top teams will now head to the VEX Robotics World Championship and the Championship of the Americas in April 2009.

Pearl Harbor survivors render a salute during a ceremony to observe the 67th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. This year's commemorative ceremony honored the heroic service of the sailors, marines, soldiers and airmen who fought to turn the tide in the Pacific.

The Department of Health is urging residents to give the gift of health by getting an influenza vaccination this year. Vaccinations are the most effective preventive measure against flu and protect the person vaccinated as well as others who may be at risk for complications from the flu.
