State of Hawai`i Governor's Update for the Week of June 28 - July 3, 2008

ROBOTS ROCK, ROLL 
IN CAPITOL ROTUNDA

The Hawai`i State Capitol was abuzz Wednesday morning with the arrival of nearly 30 robotics teams from across the State. The exhibition rocked the Rotunda and showcased Hawai`i students' technical expertise and innovative talents while providing students, parents and educators a chance to learn more about starting or expanding robotics programs in their schools.

The Hawai`i Society of Certified Public Accountants honored Kurt Kawafuchi, director of the Department of Taxation as their 2008 Outstanding CPA in Government.
